I started at a hearing center in Lethbridge as a receptionist at a clinic that my dad, The Legend, worked at. He became very close with the family that owned it over the last 20 years. When he and his business partner decided to retire and sell their company, my dad asked my sister and I if we would want to move to Calgary to open a new family-owned business. We basically said “hell yes”.

Two years ago, we decided to sell the company so my parents could retire comfortably and do the things that they deserve to do after putting up with 5 kids in the household. I moved on to start my own company called Kirkyz Acoustix and I haven’t looked back. I was taught by the best and I will always give my best to treat you like I would want to be treated.

My name is Jen and I'm the other half of Kirkyz Acoustix, a company that my husband and I are very proud to share with you.

We have been in the industry for over ten years with experience working in both private and corporate sectors. Throughout our combined tenures, we've compiled a comprehensive list of what we have heard from the clients; their wants/needs/desires, and most importantly the level of personalized educational care they deserve.

I am very passionate about changing the rhetoric and stigma that surrounds hearing loss and the use of hearing aids into a platform that builds confidence, pride, and motivation to take control of one's hearing health journey. We are health first and retail second; that is our foundation that started the trajectory of Kirkyz Acoustix.

My favourite part about our local family-owned practice is that we have the ability to choose hearing aids from multiple manufacturers. Did you know that most clients are quoted One or very seldom Two hearing aids from different manufacturers? There are dozens to choose from and every one of them has a different sound.
